PERSISTENT GENITAL AROUSAL DISORDER – “ PGAD”
Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder-“ PGAD” Therapy Treatment: Our Diagnostic Process –
The ITC difference
As a chronic pain therapy clinic that specializes in treatment of complex pain conditions, Persistent Genital Arousal disorder(“PGAD’) is just one of many disorders and syndromes we have researched and now resolved.
Contrary to what you may read or think, PGAD is quite common, is curable and its cause may surprise you.
It is a Peripheral Neuropathy syndrome involving nerves of the abdomen, lower pelvis, and/or pudendal nerve. This is why your symptoms are exactly those of any dysfunctional peripheral nerve. It’s just different, because the genitals are the affected area, rather than an arm or leg.
Genital arousal develops by activating sensory receptors in the genital region, which then propagate their neurological impulses up to the spinal cord and brain. Any dysfunction that may develop in these neurological pathways can result in persistent genitral arousal symptoms.
What makes this condition different from normal sexual arousal sensations is with the added sensations of:
- Pins/Needles, or periods of total numbness
Our Diagnostic & Treatment Process:
We’ve used our education and experience in solving intractable pain and neuropathy conditions to help us solve PGAD. Essentially, it’s a condition where one or more nerves have suffered metabolic and/or physical irritation and/or damage, so our focus is to identify what and where the problem actually arises.
We employ the same diagnostic techniques used to verify the health or dysfunction of all peripheral nerves on those that communicate with the genitals. Keep in mind that you have many peripheral nerves that branch off to form other nerves, that eventually end up communicating with the receptor cells in your genitals.
We have many tools in our clinic’s Diagnostic Tool box to do this that include our:
powerful Magnetic Therapy “PEMF”
specialized Neurostimulator Nerve Regeneration technology
world-acclaimed Acoustic EMS Shockwave Therapy
and my unique ability to feel dysfunctions in skin and soft tissues
WHAT we will do:
Assess the presence of any structural deviations from neck to feet
Feel for any evidential skin issues indicating underlying nerve dysfunction
Perform Neurological Nerve Testing
Assess for any spinal deviations such as scoliosis, retro, or spondylolisthesis,
Assess for past spinal trauma or current arthritis!
Persistent genital arousal disorder is a resolvable condition. However, we must determine what caused your particular case to then know which of our highly specialized technologies will be required to resolve it.

We understand this condition can cause you anxiety and severe depression, but put these thoughts away and let us help you.
